two months after i climbed Mt. Mayon, i did it again and this time i conquered the highest peak of the Philippines....that is Mount Apo..and what made this climb even more special? i was with my love when i did it...i could not really imagine myself successfuly trekking it up to the summit,after all, im 40, i did not train rigorously which means i wss very inconsistent in my self-imposed physical training and e en went on vacation to Singapore a few days prior to the scheduled trek. ...but to cut it short...I MADE IT! i am so proud of myself and i would say i owed all my energy and determination to my hubs, Andrew, who totally believed that i could do it! kudos also to four of my friends who climbed with us and made it through albeit first-timers except for one.today i am more confident than i can do other mountains with flying colors, after all, mount apo is the highest peak in all of Philippines' 7107 islands...i am so looking forward now to future climbs coz nothing beats the feeling of calmness and serenity when yu are on top pf the world...it is just an awesome feeling!
